Commissioned in 2001 by Artist/Producer Ben Margulies, designed by Chris Pelonis of Pelonis Sound & Acoustics, and built by Mike Lee of Dreams & Designs, Secret Garden Studios is a world-class Santa Barbara / Montecito, California based recording studio featuring an array of unique acoustical spaces lavished with both modern and vintage touches of technology.
This Montecito / Santa Barbara recording studio lives up to its name, offering clients the best of both worlds: Complete discretion & privacy, set deep amongst two acres of majestic Montecito trees, while concurrently located only moments from the all the world-famous beaches, restaurants, bars, and resorts that Montecito & Santa Barbara have to offer.
Clients of Secret Garden Studios enjoy all the amenities of home while taking advantage of this modern recording & production facility. A full kitchen and bath, including a tub & shower, laundry facilities and beautiful grounds transform long sessions into short vacations.
In addition to casual amenities, the production space provides a large state-of-the-art main tracking room with two iso booths, two spacious multi-functional secondary rooms, and a separate machine closet for a completely silent control room. Design highlights include ample natural light from large skylights and windows in most rooms which provides a pleasant work environment.
